I ventured out of the Prescott area to Williams, Arizona (a 60 mile drive). Mount Williams was my toughest hike to date since we’ve moved here. Over 2000 feet elevation change. Really enjoyed this hike, but I wouldn’t do it again. The radio towers, cell towers, etc at the top really kind of killed the ambiance. Beautiful trail and forest on the way up. Great weather for hiking. Hit the trail about 8 a.m. Right around 40 degrees at that time.

And I thought that I had a good compass…or is this on your phone? I like the altitude reading.
The photos are lovely. Thanks for sharing.
