This is the 2nd time in a month that the trail I planned to hike (Wolf Creek Loop Trail 384…which was just showcased in Arizona Highways) was closed. So I ended up a few miles away on trail 299. I ended the loop for about a mile on Senator Highway. Don’t think I’d do that again. Would have been better just to go out and back.
