Some months ago, not quite sure how long, TJ, my neighbor, and I started going out to eat for lunch every two weeks on a Friday. During hiking weather we are doing a hike on Saturday and then going out to eat. We have been to many restaurants and we are going to try to remember the ones we’ve been to already (today is August 24, 2018) and start listing the others from here on out.
We’ve been to restaurants in Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley. In the future we may even venture out to Jerome, Cottonwood and Sedona. We have big plans!
We have now repeated some of the restaurants we’ve eaten at.

Lazy G Brewhouse
This place used to be a trailer park. Food was very good. So was the beer.
Oak Creek Brewery
Good food!
Encanto Italian Grill
Good pizza. Not as good as Rosa’s, but still good.
Carmella's
The pictures on their website are NOT from Prescott AZ, at least on the home page. Food was good.
Bistro St. Michael
At the St. Michael hotel. We had breakfast here. Good.
El Charro Norte
If you don’t know where El Charro Norte is, you won’t find it. Good food!
John's Chophouse
Good food! But sadly no longer in business….
Tru Burger Co.
This is located in Anthem, Arizona. TJ and I stopped here after our hike in Cave Creek. Very good burgers.

Good salsa. Good food.

Good food! We both had burgers and I finished my meal off with Apple Cobbler and Vanilla ice cream.

This is near the movie theatres we go to. Great atmosphere and the food was good too. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and TJ had the burger.

Lynx Lake Cafe
Great burger and fries. Good coffee. View of the lake if you can get a window seat.
Crown King Saloon
Food wasn’t the greatest, but the 2 hour drive there was fantastic. Dirt road most of the way. We took TJ’s Jeep. Great views and we saw a cow!
Restaurant at the Hassayampa Inn (established 1927)
The atmosphere was great. Food was good. I didn’t particularly like my trout, but everything else was great.

After our hike TJ and I went to an old standby. He had the burger and I had steak fajitas. Very good!

We both had grass fed burgers. Very good. Lots of burger.

We liked this place a lot. Nice atmosphere, good food and the complementary digestif (my new word!) was awesome.
